Keeping in the tradition of stopping by here to leave a comment of what you're thankful for every Thursday, I thought I'd start us out with just one piece of praise from me.
I'm thankful because....
it's Thursday.
It's been a long week. But yet a good one, and I'm watching God move and change people and work things out.
This week I am thankful for PROGRESS. I feel like my book is really starting to progress. Runners always say the last mile is the hardest, and I certainly see how that relates to writing a book. At the same time, I feel like I'm getting much faster at producing higher quality drafts. Recently, I read over some of my prewrites. After I stopped cringing at the trash on the screen in front of me, I was excited to see how far the project has developed, and how I have grown in the process. Everything I have been told is true: the first draft is NEVER good, revising is the key, and through your own revisions, you uncover what the book is really about.
Paul- way to go! Spoken like a true writer. Isn't it great to see progress, and the transformation of your own writing? Kudos to you and full speed ahead!
